Vision

The vision of Christian Life Center is to be a fellowship of fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ, growing together as members of His body, filled and empowered by His Spirit to carry on His mission to go into all the world and make disciples who: Love God, Love Others, and Serve.

We grow better together because we are called and designed to be one body with many members in Christ.

Worship: "...but the world must know that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me." (John 14:31) "Therefore I urge, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship." (Romans 12:1)

Connection: "I am the vine; you are the branches." (John 15:5) "We are the Body of Christ and members in particular." (1 Corinthians 12:27) CLC is about connecting all races, cultures, and generations because of our connection to Jesus Christ. Connecting with one another through prayer, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry; connecting with Merced through helping the needy and evangelizing the lost.

Service: "No greater love has anyone than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) "I come not to be served but to serve..." (Matthew 20:28)

Giving: "Give to them that ask you..." (Matthew 5:42) "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35) "Give and it will be given to you. A good measure pressed down shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap." (Luke 6:38) "Freely you have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:8)

Inviting: "Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find." (Matthew 22:9) "But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed." (Luke 14:13) "Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God." (Luke 18:16) "The Spirit and the Bride say, Come! And let him who hears say, Come!" (Revelation 22:17)

"From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it." (Matthew 11:12)

Mission: Love God, Love Others, Serve

The "Church that love built" has developed a process for discipleship around love.

1. Love God

Our worship services are the key environments where you can learn and express corporate love for God.  The greatest commandment is to: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30

2. Love Others

Christian Life Center practices this love in small group environments.  Bible studies, home groups and identity groups enable us to share and do life together as we mature in our relationships with others.  "Love your neighbor as yourself" Mark 12:31

3. Serve

Christian Life Center is a community church and we are here for our world.  Through ministry teams we partner and serve locally and abroad.  "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45
